Experienced Tutors Needed – Prep1on1 is looking for bright, hard-working individuals to tutor for both the SAT and ACT tests on both a part-time and full-time basis in Montgomery County. Our tutors love what they do and want to make the college preparation process easier. Our tutoring follows a two-prong approach (separate tutors for verbal and math); we do not need tutors to be in expert an all disciplines of the SAT or ACT. While prior experience is not a requirement, two years of teaching experience or test preparation tutoring is an advantage.
Prep1on1 tutors set their own schedules with tutoring taking place after-school, during evenings, or on weekends. Candidates must also be willing to travel locally to students’ homes.
Job Requirements:
- Have a bachelor’s degree
- Tutors must work a minimum of 6 tutoring hours a week during our busy season
- Be willing to tutor for a minimum of two years with Prep1on1
While the SAT and ACT tests are our specialty, some of our tutors help students prepare for other tests (SAT Subject tests, AP tests, SSAT, ISEE, etc.) and tutor for specific high school subjects. Our tutors start at $40-$60 per hour depending on experience.
