Yi-Radio’s Youth Program creates structured spaces where young people learn to think clearly, speak confidently, and engage thoughtfully with the world around them.
The Youth Program is an educational initiative developed by Yi-Radio to support youth public expression, communication skills, and critical thinking. Rooted in professional media practice and educational guidance, the program helps students develop confidence, clarity, and presence through real-world speaking and dialogue experiences.
Rather than focusing on performance alone, the Youth Program emphasizes thoughtful expression—the ability to organize ideas, ask meaningful questions, listen actively, and communicate with purpose. Students are guided to express themselves with respect, curiosity, and responsibility in both individual and group settings.
What Students Learn
Participants in the Youth Program develop skills across four core areas:
- Public Speaking & Stage Presence
Building confidence, voice projection, posture, and audience awareness. - Interview & Dialogue Skills
Learning how to ask thoughtful questions, engage in conversation, and respond with clarity. - Critical Thinking & Expression
Organizing ideas, forming viewpoints, and articulating perspectives in a structured way. - Media Awareness & Communication Ethics
Understanding how messages are shaped, shared, and received in public spaces.

No prior media or speaking experience is required.
Educational Approach
Yi-Radio’s Youth Program is guided by the belief that clear expression builds confidence, and confidence supports lifelong learning. Instruction combines structured guidance with real speaking opportunities, allowing students to learn by doing rather than memorizing scripts.
The program is led by Yi Xue (薛祎), founder of Yi-Radio, a media professional and public expression educator with extensive experience in television hosting, language instruction, and youth communication development.
