Washington, D.C. — YouthTalks, a signature youth media initiative of Yi-Radio, is excited to announce that applications are now open for the Youth Reporter Program at the 24th Washington Chinese Cultural Festival.
We are inviting passionate young people ages 9–20 to become Youth Reporters and experience the excitement of real-world journalism. Participants will have the opportunity to interview festival guests, report on cultural events, write stories, create videos, and share meaningful cultural experiences through the eyes of young storytellers.
The program is designed to help students develop communication skills, confidence, creativity, and cross-cultural understanding while promoting Chinese culture within the local community.
Application Deadline: August 5, 2026

如果你喜欢交流、乐于发现、勇于表达，想用自己的视角记录真实故事、传播中华文化，我们诚挚邀请你加入 YouthTalks 小记者团队！
作为 YouthTalks 小记者，你将有机会：
- 采访文化节来宾
- 参与现场报道
- 写新闻稿件
- 制作采访视频
- 学习跨文化交流
在活动开始前，小记者还将接受专业培训，包括：
- 采访技巧培训
- 媒体礼仪培训
- 跨文化沟通训练
- 获得 YouthTalks 小记者证
- 丰富的现场采访实践机会
